Problem

When users discover interesting opportunities or collaborators online, the transition from discovery to meaningful collaboration is often broken. They must switch platforms, copy-paste information, and lose context, creating friction that kills momentum and prevents high-intent connections from turning into productive partnerships.

🛑 The Business Challenge

Conventional social platforms often break the user journey between “finding an opportunity” and “acting on it.” Users are forced to switch between multiple tools to discover, communicate, and organize activities. The objective for Meshora Phase 1 was to deliver a lightweight yet scalable MVP that combines discovery and real-time conversation into a unified, fast, chat-driven ecosystem.

Solution: Messaging-Driven System Design

We built a responsive web platform where messaging serves as the central engagement layer, transforming every post or listing into an instant gateway for collaboration.

• Instant Communication: Integrated WebSockets with Socket.IO to power real-time 1:1 conversations without requiring page refreshes.
• Context-Aware Collaboration: Designed a “Discovery-to-Conversation” workflow where listing details automatically populate new chat threads for immediate context.
• Scalable Access Control: Server-side permission system covering privacy settings, blocking, and content moderation across the platform.
