Software engineers who work well with other people's code
Offbeat Software Solutions has been building and maintaining business software since 2011. A lot of our work starts with someone else's codebase - legacy .NET applications, systems with no documentation, integrations nobody wants to touch - and turning it into something the business can keep building on. We build new products and applications from scratch too, when that's genuinely what's needed. Either way, the work happens under NDA, and the code is yours when we're done.

Why Choose Us?
We Start With What Already Works
We work across React, Next.js, .NET, Node.js, NestJS, and Angular - not because we chase every framework, but because that's the actual range of stacks we run into, whether it's an inherited system or a new build. We handle development, deployment, and the maintenance work that comes after launch, which is usually where a system's real problems show up.
Support: We don't disappear after launch. If something breaks or a client needs a change six months later, they call the same team that built it, not a support queue.

Our Vision
Software That Outlives the Original Developer
A lot of the software we get brought in on has one thing in common: the person who built it is gone, and nobody wrote down why it works the way it does. Our goal is to leave systems in a state where that's not a problem for whoever comes after us either - code that's understandable, decisions that are recorded, and an architecture that doesn't require reverse-engineering the day we hand it off.

Global Delivery
Working Across Time Zones
We work with clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Europe, from our engineering centre in Mohali, India. That's not a virtual address or a sales office - it's where our team and our delivery actually sit.
How we work across timezones
- Overlapping hours: we agree a block of real-time overlap with every client upfront, based on their timezone, so live discussion isn't left to chance.
- Communication cadence: most day-to-day work - code reviews, status updates, decisions - happens async and in writing, backed by a scheduled cadence of calls that matches the engagement.
- Response expectations: your point of contact is reachable through the agreed overlap window, and async outside it - nothing waits for a single weekly call.
- Collaboration tools: we work inside your existing tools - Jira, Slack, or Teams - rather than asking you to adopt ours.
- One point of contact: every engagement has a single person accountable for it end-to-end, not a rotating cast you have to re-explain context to.

What we offer
Our Services
We build web, mobile, and enterprise applications, and specialize in modernizing legacy .NET and SQL Server systems that a business is already depending on. Everything we ship gets automated and manual testing (Cypress, NUnit) before it goes out, and deployment runs through CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure rather than a manual push. We stay on for maintenance after launch too - most of what you learn about a system happens after it's live, not before.

Security & Privacy
We Sign the NDA Before We See Anything
Every engagement starts with an NDA, before we get access to a repository, credentials, or any business data. Access is scoped to what the work actually requires, and nothing about your system or your data leaves the engagement without your sign-off.
